a. Email Identifier

• Your Rutgers ScarletMail address used for verification and unique identification within the Service.

b. Survey Responses

• Answers you provide in connection with the match run process.

c. Match-Run Event Data

• Time-stamped audit events and confirmation intent that are necessary for pairing, sequencing, and quality review of the match run.

2. USE OF INFORMATION

a. To verify your eligibility to participate in match runs.

b. To execute, evaluate, and manage your match run.

c. To ensure the integrity and safety of Service operations.

d. To perform internal analytics related to system health and usage.

3. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

a. Private messages, communications, or messaging history between users.

b. Profile browsing history or preference data unrelated to match runs.

c. Third-party advertising identifiers, analytics identifiers, or social media account data.

d. Geolocation data beyond that minimally required for service integrity.

4. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

a. Match-Run Data Retention

Collected data is retained only for the duration necessary to operate the Service, conduct safety reviews, and maintain post-run integrity checks.

b. Deletion Policy

After completion of the final match reveal and any internal review processes, all personal data collected in connection with your match run is deleted from our active systems.

5. DATA SECURITY

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. While no security measure is perfect, we take reasonable steps to secure your data consistent with industry practice.

6. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except to facilitate Service operations, comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, or protect rights, property, or safety.

7. USERS UNDER 18

The Service is intended for individuals who are currently enrolled Rutgers students. Persons under the age of 18 are not eligible to use the Service.
